Speculation of Hazard's future at Chelsea has been at a record high ahead of the new campaign, with the Belgium global most recently being linked with a move to Real Madrid following the announcement of Cristiano Ronaldo's move to Italian giants Juventus.

Eriksen enjoyed a decent campaign with Denmark at this summer's World Cup and will return to the Spurs camp for the new season looking to help them end their trophy drought under Pochettino.

Real Madrid are preparing to submit a £150million transfer offer for Eden Hazard.

The attacker, who is yet to agree an extension to a Blues contract that has two more years to run, said before the World Cup that he was waiting to see if the Premier League club bring in "good players" before committing to fresh terms. Further, the £100 million that they received from Juventus can be perfectly reinvested by signing Hazard.

According to Spanish daily Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona believe it would be too costly a deal to pull off and believe signing Hazard this summer is an unviable option for the club.

Real will now formalise their interest.

How could Chelsea line up under Maurizio Sarri next season? "Eden Hazard will be leaving for a big, big club". Chelsea not willing to sell him.

The Chelsea and Belgium forward has said that he is happy at Chelsea however - but suggested it would be a "dream" to play for Real Madrid.
