The judge asked each side to provide four names as potential special masters, but made clear she has not made a final decision. Calls to a Fox News spokeswoman were not immediately returned.

Cohen is trying to keep investigators from sifting through all the documents they collected in those raids, claiming they're protected by attorney-client privilege. "The president has the right, he is entitled to perform the initial review of materials". That's why Cohen's lawyer had to list his client's clients: to say who would be affected by this privilege.

The lawyers wrote in a court filing Monday that the raids a week ago to gather evidence from attorney Michael Cohen were "completely unprecedented".

"This is perhaps the most highly publicized search warrant in the history of recent American criminal jurisprudence".

Cohen's lawyers from McDermott Will and Emery, however, argue that appointing a special master would "avoid even a hint of impropriety here in the review of Mr. Cohen's data and documents". He added that Cohen's "life has been turned upside down". Hannity also slammed Comey's Sunday night appearance on ABC, calling it "by far the worst interview I've ever seen".

Mr. Cohen is under criminal investigation by the United States attorney's office in Manhattan. Cohen is President Trump's personal attorney and "fixer", who arranged a $130,000 payment to Daniels.

Other lawyers for the president also filed an emergency request to let Cohen evaluate the documents before the Federal Bureau of Investigation can have them. The other seven were of a business consulting nature. Those included Trump and Elliot Broidy, the former Republican fundraiser who - with the help of Cohen - paid $1.6 million to a Playboy model with whom he had an affair and impregnated.

"I've known Michael a long, long time".

American Idol: Who Made Top 14?
Brandon Diaz perhaps took the biggest risk of the night, singing "Hello" in front of the man who wrote the love song. Catie Turner left an impression on Sunday night's episode of American Idol when she sang "Call Me" by Blondie.

"John Stewart: After the show I'm going to come over, and we're just going to spoon!" "I never retained him in any traditional sense".

"I had no personal interest in this legal matter". "Attorney Client privilege is now a thing of the past", he said.

"I have occasionally had brief conversations with him about legal questions about which I wanted his input and perspective, and I assumed that those conversations were confidential", he said.

On Monday, he said, "Now, keep in mind, Cohen was never part of the Trump administration or the Trump campaign".

On Monday's show, Hannity expressed amusement at the firestorm of media coverage unleashed by the disclosure that he and Trump shared a legal adviser in Cohen, playing a 45-second, rapid-fire montage of various TV commentators and anchors uttering his name on the air throughout the day.

"So it has gone from Russian Federation collusion, to a St. Petersburg troll farm, to Stormy Daniels, to Michael Cohen, and now, Sean Hannity?".

Cohen's legal team said he had just three clients in 2017 and 2018. The woman became pregnant and subsequently had an abortion, Broidy said in a statement last week after The Wall Street Journal first reported Cohen's role. "A Cohen lawyer, Stephen Ryan, had said that the third client, whom Cohen initially would not name, told Cohen over the weekend not to allow his name to get out", noted Bloomberg.

The White House was quick to dismiss the story, with Trump uncharacteristically keeping his opinions to a minimum. "Now, the Federal Bureau of Investigation reportedly seized records related to Cohen's payment to this porn star Stormy Daniels, among other items". Daniels was in the courtroom on Monday for the arguments.
