For Carlos Santana, 45, of Brentwood, who works for Dunrite Landscaping in Bay Shore, the snowfall was an early April economic opportunity on the heels of a record-breaking snowy March. As of 6:30 a.m., only Ocean and western Atlantic counties were even below 35 degrees.

Through the day on Tuesday, precipitation will become more widespread.
