Seacrest has denied all the allegations, and even made a claim of his own by saying that Hardy offered to retract her accusations if the host pays her a significant amount of money.
"They really shouldn't send him [to the Oscars]", Burke told Variety. Seacrest has denied the allegations, and E! announced that an investigation provided no evidence to support Hardy's claims.
As time ran out on the red carpet, it seemed unlikely that anyone would address the allegations to Seacrest directly. In a statement to THR an E! spokesperson said that the delay was "business as usual".
That didn't prevent things from getting awkward, though.
This year, however, Seacrest's appearance was marred by allegations of sexual harassment. In this case, though, Bellamy issued an apology and said she was "uninformed". As of now, the entertainment industry is still unsure on whether to allow Seacrest to continue his obligations as radio host and, more importantly, his coverage duties for the upcoming Oscars. "Speaking on behalf of all of us here, I know what an easy, professional, great person you are, and I feel very, very lucky to work with you each and every day".
At the Oscars, she popped in again for some cheerleading.
She also doesn't know if she'll skip the E! camera, and also brought up former E! host Catt Sadler, who left the network after she said she learned that she made less than her male co-anchor, Jason Kennedy.

On ABC's rival broadcast, stars showed up who seemingly skipped Seacrest, including Matthew McConaughey, Margot Robbie, Viola Davis, Timothée Chalamet and, notably, Ashley Judd and Mira Sorvino, who have both accused Harvey Weinstein of sexual harassment.
