David de Gea: 'I am happy at Manchester United'
The French midfielder has been the centre of debates since reports emerged suggesting that he regrets leaving Juventus for Manchester United and is not happy with manager Jose Mourinho's treatment.
Paul Pogba will not get the opportunity to offer a response to his critics in Manchester United's FA Cup clash with Huddersfield after being ruled out through illness.
Mourinho revealed he found out from United's medical staff early on Saturday that Pogba would not be available but insists he will not concern himself with the 24-year-old's absence until after the match.
Mourinho on Friday dismissed reports of a rift with the club's £89million record signing as "lies" and "bull***t", but admitted Pogba is not playing well enough. "Now, it's my problem and Paul's problem to deal with it and try to improve his performance level". Paul accepts that he has not been playing well in the last few matches but that's all. Don't be nice, be objective and say lies.
When asked about "other managers" who had left a space on the bench, Mourinho told BT Sport: "I think it's a lovely moment for the players, even if they don't play".
"Of course we need balance in the team and I said that months ago". According to L'Equipe, Pogba has grown frustrated and has asked Mourinho to start using him in a different position.
Romelu Lukaku scored twice to secure a 2-0 win for Manchester United over Huddersfield Town in the fifth round of the FA Cup. Now is the time to think about Paul and to know what happened and why he didn't feel good enough to play and can he be available to help us on Wednesday.
"There are people in your role that their surname is "Liar", said Mourinho.
The former Everton star was happy to reach 21 goals for the season before a hard week, in which United visit Sevilla in the Champions League before hosting Chelsea next Sunday. The next one is the one that, tomorrow 7.30pm, we are out of the FA Cup or we are in the quarter-final. He had a red card against Arsenal probably in his best match of the season, in his best moment and probably in the team's best moment.
"You are paid to read the game and explain the game".
Bailly signed for the Premier League giants for a fee of £30million from La Liga side Villarreal. "Especially Aaron, who has played on a very high level against Bournemouth - back to his best".
