This year, the live broadcast will return to Madison Square Garden for a cooler, more confined celebration of achievers who have excelled in 84 categories and numerous genres of the music recording industry.

An eclectic all-star lineup of artists, musicians, actors, and comedians will take the stage as presenters at the 60th Annual GRAMMY Awards®. Elvis scored his first No. 1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 with "Heartbreak Hotel" in 1956 - three years before the first Grammy Awards ceremony was held in 1959.

Further amping up the excitement for viewers, Vh1 has organised a Vivo V7 and V7 Plus presents Vh1 Trippin to the 60th Annual Grammys Awards contest, enabling one victor to travel to New York City to witness music's biggest night.

The 60th annual Grammy Awards airs Sunday, January 28, at 8 pm ET on CBS, but if you don't own a television, the network has made it easy for you to stream the show in its entirety on the CBS website.

"From the time the 45th GRAMMY Awards ended in 2003, I was always thinking about when it would be good and appropriate for us to go back to NY, said Portnow".

2017 And finally, Adele wins Album of the Year for "25", and immediately uses her speech to say what everybody was thinking: that Beyonce deserved it for "Lemonade", which she said was "so monumental, and so well thought-out and soul-bearing". Armed with seven nominations, Kendrick Lamar is set to open this year's show with a special performance featuring U2 and Dave Chappelle, according to E!

Country singers Brothers Osborne, Eric Church and Maren Morris will pay tribute to victims of gun violence or terrorism during live music events.

Who's Nominated? Jay-Z is most likely going to add some more trophies to the collection of 21 he already has; the rapper leads all nominees with eight nods, including Album, Record and Song of the Year.

Nominees for best pop vocal album include Lady Gaga's "Joanne", Coldplay's five-song EP "Kaleidoscope", Imagine Dragons' "Evolve", Lana Del Rey's "Lust for Life" and Kesha's "Rainbow", marking her first Grammy nomination. Miranda Lambert, who earned two nominations, was surprisingly shut out of best country album though her double album, "The Weight of These Wings", was a critical favorite.

Below we take a look at icons who now, and sadly, can't put these two words before their names: Grammy victor.

This year, he is back with album of the year nominee "Damn." and record of the year entry "Humble".

50 Cent didn't win any Grammys that night.
