Authorities in Alabama said Friday they had launched an arson investigation after the home of a woman who accused Roy Moore of groping her almost two decades ago burned to the ground Wednesday. On Nov. 9, The Washington Post published an extensive report detailing allegations that Moore pursued relationships with teenage girls, including a 14-year-old when he was 32.

Johnson, who is now staying at a motel, told AL.com that neighbors noticed a young man with a history of public intoxication near the house before and during the fire.

A spokesman for the Etowah County Sheriff's Department said the fire is under investigation by the Arson Task Force, but no charges have been filed.
