Rousey also discussed the welcome she received from WWE fans, saying she was completely overwhelmed and at a loss for words after getting the biggest pop of the night.

Rousey has made a decision to commit her immediate future to wrestling though, while she refused to rule out a return to the Octagon at some point.

"This is my life now". This is not a smash-and-grab.

Rousey made a long-rumored appearance at the end of WWE's Royal Rumble in Philadelphia, staring down WWE superstars Charlotte Flair, Asuka and Alexa Bliss before shaking hands with WWE executive Stephanie McMahon at ringside.

Rousey's move to the world of wrestling - or sports entertainment as WWE prefers to call it - has been hinted at strongly for some time.

WWE Royal Rumble 2018
Early on, Styles held his own, with some chain wrestling going back and forth as Zayn and Owens tagged in and out of the match. Rousey winning or entering the rumble could take away from the rest of the women who have gotten the division to this point.

On Monday, Rousey posted a video to her Instagram showing her children completely blindsided by her WWE appearance while watching the Royal Rumble at home with her husband, Travis Browne. "I mean, I never retired from judo, so if that's what you guys want to think", Rousey said. "And now that I realize I really do have this opportunity, I feel like my 6-year-old self would totally kick my ass if I didnt take it".

WrestleMania 34 is scheduled for April 8, which gives Rousey a little over two months to be completely ready.

Quickly after her appearance, news broke that she has signed a deal with WWE as a full-time talent. The entire show was WWE at its very best and if the promotion can maintain the high standard set tonight, 2018 will be a banner year for the company.

After Asuka's (right) Royal Rumble win, Rousey pointed at the sign that said WrestleMania. She had a face-off of sorts with victor Asuka, Smackdown women's champion Charlotte Flair and Raw women's champion Alexa Bliss. Instead, UFC president Dana White allowed Rousey to skip out on all the regular pre-fight duties including interviews, open workouts, or any sort of media day with reporters. "Ronda continues to achieve everything she has ever wanted".

The final loss was on December 30, 2016, just under three years since she began her UFC career.
