School business and services announce closings for January 16
At 12:45 p.m., the Harris County School District announced it will be closed Wednesday, but no word about after-school activities.
Several schools and businesses will be closed Tuesday in anticipation of wintry weather, according to school officials.
VICKSBURG SCHOOLS: Due to the extremely cold temperatures and the slippery conditions of roads that are not expected to improve by tomorrow, all Vicksburg Warren School District schools and offices will be closed, Wednesday, January 17, 2018. The Kids Konnection Playground at the Koop Drive trailhead, and the Tammany Trace also will be closed. The Lee County School Board meeting scheduled for tonight has been postponed, according to its website, and scheduled for January 23 at 6 p.m.
McClain Christian Academy will close both campuses Tuesday.
Lebanon Special School District also said they will not have class Tuesday.
- MITCHELL COUNTY: The Mitchell County School System and Baconton Community Charter School will be closed Wednesday and will reopen on Thursday.
All Parish of Caddo administrative offices and departments will be closed Tuesday.
The Bossier Parish Courthouse in Benton will be closed Tuesday.
