Ansari and Grace's date is important to talk about precisely because it is so relatable for nearly every non-celibate person in the country. I once dated a woman who tried to fuck me every night after I'd fallen asleep, and I'd just roll onto my stomach and start snoring. Isn't it heartbreaking and depressing that men - especially ones who present themselves publicly as feminists - so often act this way in private? This could happen to you. It was in a story shared by a 23-year old photographer who declined to be identified.

Ansari repeatedly asks, "Where do you want me to fuck you?"

They finally bonded over the fact that they both were shooting with old-fashioned film cameras. We are told that "he wouldn't let her move away from him", in the encounter.

After a quick dinner, she says, they returned to his apartment, where he undressed her, pressured her into oral sex and suggested he get a condom. But this case is off the rails.

"I hope the next time you go on a bad date, you stand up sooner, you smooth out your dress, and you bloody well leave". Will it fracture the progress made in battling sexual assault? And here is where I am going to claim victim. "If you are not interested in having a physical relationship... then say good-night after dinner, don't go to their apartment". She returned the favor.

And this is the point where it gets tricky.

But whether or not Ansari was oblivious to her hesitation or just ignored it is impossible for Grace to pinpoint. She went on to saying that he took no notice of her signals that apparently made it very clear that she was not comfortable.

Banfield said Grace "chiseled away at a movement that I, along with all of my sisters in the workplace, have been dreaming of for decades". "It was 30 minutes of me getting up and moving and him following and sticking his fingers down my throat again". Only, after she said an unequivocal "No", he stopped trying to have sexual intercourse with her. He called her an Uber.

"I'm concerned about what this does to the Me Too movement", McCain said. "And all the gains that have been achieved on your behalf and mine are now being compromised by the allegations that you threw out there, and I'm gonna call them reckless and hollow".

Steve Kerr calls LaVar Ball 'the Kardashian of the NBA'
In talking about LaVar Ball and the media spotlight that's been placed on Lonzo's father, Kerr most definitely didn't hold back. After Carlisle blasted ESPN, Detroit Pistons head coach Stan Van Gundy threatened not to do any interviews with ESPN.

He responded, "I'm so sad to hear this".

"Clearly, I misread things in the moment and I'm truly sorry", Ansari's alleged text said.

The woman said she chose to make her story public after she saw Ansari sport a Time's Up pin at the Golden Globe Awards last week, at which he won the award for "Best Actor in a Television Series Musical or Comedy" for his monumental work on Netflix's "Master of None" (see earlier India-West story here).

The reaction from the feminocracy was fiercely pro-Grace.

The most woke comedian of this generation, Aziz Ansari, was accused over the weekend of basically being a rapey frat bro.

Aziz recently gave a statement to People magazine reacting to the controversy and said that all the sexual activity between the two was consensual. "Coercion is not consent". Caitlin Flanagan wrote in The Atlantic that the article was "3,000 words of revenge porn" intended "to hurt and humiliate Ansari". The writer wrote that the "allegations against the comedian are proof that women are angry, temporarily powerful-and very, very unsafe". And it scares me.

A rep for Ansari did not immediately return a request for comment, but later issued a statement confirming the encounter.

Master Of None star Ansari denied the accusations of sexual misconduct, saying the encounter was "by all indications completely consensual".

Writing in the New York Times, Bari Weiss said the complaint amount to: "Put in other words: I am angry that you weren't able to read my mind".
