The First Ocean's 8 Trailer Has Arrived

The First Ocean's 8 Trailer Has Arrived

The female reboot of the Ocean's franchise is almost upon us - and while a lot of men are angry about it, the first trailer reveals it to be as slick and sophisticated as the originals.

Looking at the trailer, Ocean's 8 will once again be a comedy.

Previously, Bullock told Entertainment Weekly that the dynamic on set was "so great" and that the cast "bonded pretty quickly out of necessity and just because we like each other".

Still, it's a bit of a bummer that Danny Ocean's dead, especially with the excellent rapport George Clooney and Bullock had in Gravity. Because, really, who doesn't want to see a kickass group of women who work together to get stuff done?

Details are scarce thus far, but EW reports Debbie and co. aim to steal a "priceless" necklace from a celebrity attendee at the Met Gala.

Islamic State Attack In Kabul Ended, Three Militants Reported Killed
At least nine people were killed and more than 50 injured in the blast in the southwestern city of Quetta. The militants took up positions at the construction site in order to fire down on the training centre.

The heist film stars Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Rihanna, Helena Bonham Carter, Anne Hathaway, Mindy Kaling, Sarah Paulson and Awkwafina. We don't know much about these characters yet, but tomorrow's trailer is sure to provide more insight.

The studio synopsis reads: "The tide has turned and it's a whole new "Ocean's" when eight women plan and execute a heist in NY".

During filming previous year, Dakota Fanning was spotted on set, though nothing is known about her role in the film.

Anna Wintour, Alexander Wang, Maria Sharapova, Derek Blasberg, Lauren Santo Domingo, Zayn Malik, Kendall Jenner, Katie Holmes, Olivia Munn, Adriana Lima, Hailey Baldwin, Serena Williams, Kylie Jenner and Zac Posen will also pop up. In one scene, Debbie is seen sipping a martini while sitting in front of a grave that reads "Danny Ocean, 1961-2018".

Here are some of the best reactions to the Ocean's 8 trailer.
