The timing is very suspect though, as the original Street Fighter was first released on August 30, 1987. In addition, three of the games feature an online mode-Street Fighter II: Hyper Fighting, Super Street Fighter II: Turbo, and Street Fighter Alpha 3. Happy days indeed for Street Fighter devotees. These include ranked matches, casual matches, lobbies, and leaderboards.
We're not going to look a gift horse in the mouth though, as four of the games will have online options as well, namely Street Fighter II: Hyper Fighting, Super Street Fighter II Turbo, Street Fighter Alpha 3, and Street Fighter III: Third Strike. There are 12 iconic titles in the 30th Anniversary Collection. To mark that debut, Capcom are all set to release a fully featured anniversary collection, bringing together 12 games from the fighting game franchise.
As well as the games, the package will include a nice selection of added extras for fans, including character bios, a "museum" of concept art and game trivia, and all the original music.
Players will also finally be able to take part in Street Fighter multiplayer action via online connection.
