Package of manure sent to Steve Mnuchin's Bel-Air home, LAPD says
A bit of horseplay forced the hand of a Los Angeles bomb squad Saturday night after a suspicious Christmas gift-wrapped package was found on the doorstep of the Bel-Air home of Steve Mnuchin.
Los Angeles Police Department's bomb squad was called to Mnuchin's neighborhood and, according to Associated Press, the package turned out to contain horse manure.
A neighbor, Prince Frederick von Anhalt, said he and others who live above the home were trapped for about two hours, until police found out it was filled with manure and cleared the scene.
US Secret Service told CNN they were aware of the incident but referred all questions to the LAPD.
