Watch women threaten to kill people on her flight
In a video obtained by Portland CBS affiliate KOIN6, a woman in a white hat, sunglasses and a black jacket can be seen profanely berating a flight attendant while collecting her belongings and moves into the aisle.
"Our Crew enforced the regulation and that was followed by the passenger outburst", the statement read.
"I have a destination for myself, and I need to go there", Curbello says in a video taken by another passenger (above).
The disturbance was captured on video by a fellow passenger.
The woman was later restrained for the rest of the flight and escorted to law enforcement officers when the plane landed, a report from another TV report said. "I swear, if you don't...land, I will f-- kill everybody on this f-- plane!"
The airline crew says that Curbelo was caught smoking in the bathroom of the aircraft and the crew noticed the smoke detector had been tampered with. "I will kill everybody on this f--ing plane".
According to sources, flight attendants caught Valerie Curbelo attempting to smoke in the bathroom.
The passengers and crew then managed to control Curbelo for 30 minutes, until the flight landed.
A passenger on a Southwest Airlines flight threatened to kill the flight's passengers and crew on Saturday.
Per the Sacramento Bee, she is being held on $75,000 bail and has been charged with three felony counts of threats to commit a crime resulting in death.
"The safety of our Crew and Passengers is our top priority and we take all threats seriously", it noted. She couldn't clearly say what she was anxious about or why she acted the way she did.
When asked in the interview why she made the threatening statements, Curbelo said, "I don't know".
A witness told WREG that she complained about having anxiety and demanded that they land at a different location.
