In fact, the actresses attending the 2018 Golden Globes will don black attire as a sign of protest. The Screen Actors Guild announced Wednesday that all presenters at the January 21 SAG Awards would be women (the nominations were announced by two women as well) and the ceremony will be hosted by Kristen Bell, their first ever female host.

Amy Poehler, Kelly Clarkson, Penelope Cruz, Seth Rogen and Kerry Washington will also present awards.

Seth Meyers, host of NBC's "Late Night with Seth Meyers", will carry out hosting duties.

Here's to the celebrities, male and female, who are stepping up and supporting this important cause on the Golden Globes red carpet-and beyond. "With his natural comedic wit and innate ability to charm audiences, Seth will help us carry on the celebratory tradition of recognizing the best in television and film at the Party of the Year".

Plenty of women have stepped up to protest Hollywood's rampant culture of sexual harassment and assault. It was previously announced that Oprah Winfrey will be the recipient of the 2018 Cecil B. DeMille Award.

They added that the protest could be extended throughout the awards season, with stylist Ilaria Urbanati, who works with Dwayne Johnson, aka The Rock, Tom Hiddleston and Armie Hammer, suggesting Hollywood's male stars will also be following suit. "At least ALL MY GUYS will be", Urbinanti wrote last week on Instagram.
