The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Are Coming to Injustice 2 in Fighter Pack 3
NetherRealm Studios have revealed which characters will be making an appearance in the third Fighter Pack DLC for their hit fighter title Injustice 2.
It looks like this last (?) DLC pack for Injustice 2 is going to be a good one. For all we know, that partnership is what led to this unexpected development for Injustice 2. Especially considering how much the character models resemble their early 90's film counterparts.
It's not clear from the trailer above how Michaelangelo, Leonardo, Raphael and Donatello will work-will one take the lead while the others help out in combos? It is unlikely that they will be individually selectable, and most likely will be a team effort. Will they each be independent playable characters? Outside of their mere existence on the larger roster, how they factor in has yet to be revealed, but it could obviously be done a variety of ways.
Joining the creative fighter Atom as the last DLC (that we now know of) are Enchantress, and, shockingly enough, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Those looking forward to more DC characters might be a bit disappointed with this news, but how can you not like the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, right? That remains to be seen, but for now, there's a lot to be excited about here.
Atom is set to launch this December 12, with the Enchantress set for release in January, and the Ninja crew in February.
