Khalighi said that the music mogul began making inappropriate advances toward her, aggressively yanking off her clothes.

The woman, Keri Claussen Khalighi, was 17 at the time, and she said met the pair during a casting call. "I want my daughters to live in a more equal world and a world where they will not become victims of sexual harassment".

Khalighi accused Simmons of trying to force her to have intercourse with him, but she "fought it wildly".

However, Khalighi said she spoke to Simmons a year ago about the alleged incident.

Feeling "disgusting", Khalighi said she went to take a shower. She said after jerking away from him, he left her alone.

Simmons' attorney Brad D. Rose acknowledged Simmons apologised for their interaction in 1991, but only because it constituted what Simmons describes as an embarrassing episode of infidelity. She disputes that account.

The model claimed she went to take a shower and, minutes later, Simmons approached her from behind and penetrated her. He added, "Let me be crystal clear and very direct. Abusing women in any way, shape or form violates the very core of my being".

Ratner's lawyer told the LA Times that his client has "no recollection" of Khalighi asking for help against Simmons' moves.

She continued: Ratner "just sat there and watched".

A second witness statement submitted by a then-assistant to Simmons' said that Anthony "Mac" McNair "did not notice any visible signs of distress or that anything improper had occurred" on the date in question.

Russell Simmons coerced a teen model into performing oral sex on him in 1991 as his former protege, Brett Ratner, watched the encounter, according to a new report.

They also spoke on the phone after allegations of Ratner's alleged misconduct surfaced on November 1.

Police said the unidentified woman claimed the two men held her against her will and that both touched her unlawfully.

Khalighi, now 43, told the Times that now is simply the time for the truth to come out.

"He [Ratner] said he was young and stupid and blinded by Russell's sway over him", she recalled.

"As a long-time social activist, I have applauded the strength of the courageous men and women who have spoken out over the past month and made their voices heard regarding sexual assault and harassment". "So I'm coming out because what I've experienced privately is not matching what they are saying publicly and hypocrisy to me is repugnant and it's time for the truth to come out". She claims she asked Ratner for help, but he did not respond.

Ratner has recently been dogged by allegations of sexual misconduct by at least six women, including actress Olivia Munn.
