ONSLOW COUNTY, N.C. (WITN/NBC News) The search for a missing North Carolina 3-year-old girl has entered its second day. "She could be anywhere, she's very sweet, very loving girl, long brown hair and blue eyes, goes by Mariah".

Woods lives with her mother and her mother's live-in boyfriend on Dawson Cabin Road in Jacksonville, North Carolina.

But the blond-haired, blue-eyed girl was missing the next morning, and police issued an Amber alert early Monday.

3-year-old was last seen in her bedroom; Laura Ingle reports as the FBI joins the investigation.

Mariah's grandmother, Anne Edwards, said that the preschooler wears braces on her legs, suggesting that she would probably not make it far on her own. Throughout the course of the search, investigators have used everything from drones and helicopters to K9s in an attempt to find the girl.

A family friend told 9 On Your Side the girl has an orthopedic leg problem, so when she walks her left leg is thrown around and causes her to wobble.

"'I'll do anything that I can, whatever you want", said Woods. Her mother told authorities she had not seen her daughter since she put her to bed Sunday night in their home in Jacksonville, according to ABC affiliate WCTI.

"Please, bring her back", said Kristy Woods at a news conference on Monday.

Family members said there was no sign of forced entry or anything wrong with Mariah's room.

Alex Woods is the biological father of Mariah Woods and her two brothers.

"Mariah's mother describes her as their "little angel", with a goofy, outgoing and talkative personality".
