It is understood the Queen spent almost an hour with her grandson and the Los Angeles-born Meghan who stars in the US legal drama Suits
The meeting would make it the second time Meghan and her boyfriend's grandma have met, suggesting the pair are nearly certainly engaged. In the most recent news, the couple apparently had a secret tea party with Queen Elizabeth, allowing her and Markle to spend some time together, since she'll have to give Harry, the fifth in line for Britain's royal throne, permission before he can Wednesday.
Meghan and Harry first started dating 18 months ago, with Britain's Kensington Palace making the unconventional move of issuing a statement confirming their romance just months into their relationship.
Engagement rumours have been rife since the couple were spotted at the Invictus Games in Toronto earlier this year, holding hands and piling on the PDA.
They were later snapped sharing their first public kiss while in a private luxury box at the closing ceremony of the games.
Meanwhile, an insider has told the publication that their wedding news is 100% imminent.
But before the games, Markle had given an interview to Vanity Fair, in which she spoke in a way that no other royal girlfriend or boyfriend had done so before.
And that's not the only family member the Suits star has met with, with The Mail revealing Harry's father Prince Charles was "very impressed" when he was introduced to the 36-year-old.
The Queen then invited the happy couple to her BBQ the following day where a Royal source told us they got on "well". "I'm still the same person that I am, and I've never defined myself by my relationship".
Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams believes that an engagement is definitely on the horizon now that Markle has met Her Majesty. Markle certainly knows how to slide undercover, whether it's with her top-secret airport visits or low-key date nights.
