Crying Odell Beckham carted off the field in Giants disaster

April 23 2018, 05:36 | Van Peters

NY wide receiver Brandon Marshall was carted off the field with a left ankle injury in the second quarter of Sunday's game against the Chargers, and fellow Giants receiver Sterling Shepard injured his left ankle a few plays earlier and also had to be helped off the field.

As if the Giants season could not get any worse, the unthinkable happened.

OBJ was carted off the field late in the fourth quarter with a leg injury. It was the same ankle he injured in the preseason against the Cleveland Browns which caused him to miss Week 1.

And then it was veteran quarterback Eli Manning, who dropped back on the very next play, succumbed to the pressure of defensive end Melvin Ingram and fumbled the ball on his way to the turf.

Through four games, Beckham had three touchdowns.

Attorney general opposes OJ Simpson coming to Florida, cites 'dangers'
He's eligible for release starting Sunday (Oct. 1), and could be out as early as Monday. "He's going to Florida", LaVergne said. Simpson moved to Florida from California following the judgement in the civil case.

Giants receivers are dropping like flies.

Marshall was also carted off the field in the second quarter after failing to make a one-handed catch and rolling his left ankle.

Earlier in the game both Marshall and Shepard left with ankle injuries on separate plays in the half and did not return.

Here's the Odell Beckhaminjury. And the Giants went on to lose the game.
