Carrie Fisher's Daughter Billie Lourd Will Inherit Nearly $7 Mil

Carrie Fisher's estate executor recently filed the necessary court documents, which revealed that Lourd will receive the above amount in the form of personal property. There could be more inheritance coming her way, as well, as the website said the probate case does not reflect money that could be in various trusts. Lourd will also inherit the rights to her mother's public image, likeness and signature, along with intellectual property rights, which include proceeds from books, trademarks and copyrights.

The estate that Fisher shared with Reynolds is now om the market for $18m and the proceeds from the sale will likely be incorporated into Lourd's trust.

The news outlet also revealed that Carrie Fisher's assets include "a life insurance policy, ownership of various LLCs, multiple bank accounts, a 2016 Tesla S, jewelry, artwork, and collectibles". It is believed that the 25-year-old actress could also acquire all proceeds from Carrie Fisher's memorabilia set that is scheduled to be auctioned in September.

Fisher's mother Debbie Reynolds - star of beloved classics such as The Unsinkable Molly Brown and Singin' In The Rain - passed away a day after her daughter from an intracerebral haemorrhage, with hypertension a contributing factor.

"I've always kind of lived in [mom and Debbie's] shadows, and now is the first time in my life when I get to own my life and stand on my own", she added of becoming her own person while sill upholding her family's legacies.

Fisher is known for her iconic "Star Wars" role of Princess Leia whereas, her daughter Billie is at the peak of her career.
