Katy Perry sued after stagehand loses toe in tragic accident during singer's tour
TMZ reports that Katy Perry has been sued by a former stagehand who lost a toe as a result of an accident during Perry's 2014 Prismatic World Tour. When this happened, Fish says she felt her shoe fill up with blood and was offered ice, but an ambulance was not called.
On the night of Katy's Raleigh, NC concert she was asked to help move a wall. when it got stuck and then rolled across her foot. Instead, she called her own friend to bring her to the hospital.
Christina says her right toe became gangrenous, and eventually needed to be amputated. Before that, doctors told her to keep the "dead toe" attached for as long as possible. She said she wasn't able to use the foot for months after and noted that the incident cause a great deal of emotional stress. The latter was featured as one of the big live performances at this year's MTV Video Music Awards, but there's a feeling online that her newest material hasn't been as universally loved by her fans as her previous work was.
There's photos of her injury up on TMZ, which you can view here, if you're into that sort of thing.
Only two days later, Perry is being hit by a lawsuit from a stagehand who incurred an injury while working for the pop star on tour.
