HTC has confirmed that its newest smartphones will be updated to Google's new Android Oreo software.

HTC added that soon it'll share more details of its update plans, including additional devices.

We have already talked so much about the earlier expected Android version name as Android O in our previous articles but now we will be taking you all through the changes that have been introduced with the so called Android Oreo. Mopria said the goal is to help users gain an intuitive experience in mobile printing once the latest Android version rolls out to their devices.

Android Oreo comes with a raft of internal improvements, created to boost the performance of existing Google-backed devices. However, most of these bugs are addressed by Google and have either been fixed or assigned developers who will fix them.

Android users no longer need to look quite as enviously at their iPhone-toting friends, because Oreo lets apps display notification badges on their home screen icons too: From Settings tap Apps & notifications then Notifications to find the toggle switch.

Nokia smartphones Android Oreo Update - Nokia Android phones will also get the latest update.

Android Oreo launched on the 21st of August and has since been the talk of the town. But we do expect that the upcoming Galaxy Note 8 and the Galaxy S8 series will be the first ones to get Android Oreo.

Now that Android 8.0 Oreo is official, manufacturers are going to start coming out and announcing which of their devices will receive an Oreo update.

The new OnePlus flagship, OnePlus 5 is confirmed to get Android Oreo, as are last year's OnePlus 3 and 3T.

Better Autofill Implementation with Android Oreo. Though, the Xperia XZ Premium, Xperia XZs, Xperia XZ, Xpera X Compact, Xperia XA1 Ultra, and Xperia XA1 seem to be standing ahead in the line for getting Android 8.0 Oreo update from Sony. There is a high chance that there are a lot of Android devices missing from this list, so don't be disheartened if you don't see your phone listed.
