Kaalakandi's teaser reveals Saif's character, where he is doing the insane things without even realising why is he doing so.
Akshat Verma, writer of the Aamir Khan's Delhi Belly (2011), makes his directorial debut with the film. "Kaalakaandi" is a thrilling dark comedy written and directed by Akshat Verma and produced by Cinestaan Film Company and Flying Unicorn Entertainment.
The film features the story of six characters from different walks of life.
The teaser of actor Saif Ali Khan's upcoming film Kaalakaandi has released and it looks promising. When the series was announced, the author had said, "Over the last few years, I've watched with great excitement and pleasure as Netflix has transformed narrative television with its ground-breaking, genre-bending shows. It's a cross section of Mumbai with underworld goons, doomed bankers and idealistic lovers all mixed together in this karmic tale about love, crime and living a lifetime in one night". He is doing the craziest things without even realising why he is doing so.
Shashwat Sachdev composed the music for Kaalakaandi.
Meanwhile, Saif Ali Khan will join with Karan Johar to host the 18th edition of the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards in NY next month. The cinematography is by Himman Dhamija while for the editing Rahul Purav is responsible. The gala event of Bollywood will take place this year on July 14 and July 15.
As we eagerly wait for the trailer to release soon, Kalaakandi has been slated to hit the theatres on September 8, 2017. As part of the deal, new films starring Indian superstar SRK would be exclusively available to more than 86 million members globally.
