Sitting in its place now, however, is 'See You Again' by Wiz Khalifa featuring Charlie Puth, the song written as a tribute to Paul Walker for the soundtrack of 'Furious 7'.

Justin Bieber's Sorry remains the third most-watched YouTube video of all time, with 2.63 billion views. The video surpassed Gangnam Style by a slight (relatively) margin of about 2 million views.

Considering that the video was only released back in 2015, it's pretty wonderful to have amassed that amount of views in only two years, compared to Gangnam Style's 5 years.

Okay, first of all, this is pure craziness because Psy's Gangnam Style deserves that spot on the top of the podium.

Music videos, including ones by Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, Mark Ronson and Maroon 5, account for nine of the 10 most-watched videos on YouTube as of mid-July.

The newest, record-breaking megahit is See You Again by Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth. Back then, videos on the platform had a maximum possible number of views set at 2,147,483,647.

"See You Again" was also the most-sold track in 2015 (pdf) even before streams are factored into the equation. For Example, Luis Fonsi Despacito was released at the start of this year and it already has more than 2.5 billion views. Clocking at 2.896 billion views, "See You Again" is now the most viewed video on Youtube.

"I'm super excited and grateful to everyone who supported the song and video on YouTube, and happy to inspire and impact so many lives". "Having 10,000 views on Youtube is good already, how much more if the views reached to more than 2 billion, I can not ask anything more", he said.
