Dallas Cowboys wide receiver and kick returner Lucky Whitehead is having a rough 2017.

According to Whitehead, Blitz was stolen from his home last Sunday while he was out of town. Lucky Whitehead?has been reunited with Blitz. Moreover, who steals a dog and then demands a ransom? Whitehead said he suspects the heist was "an inside job" and plans to talk to some people close to him.

After discovering the dog was missing, Whitehead says he received phone calls from someone demanding that he pay $10,000 for the safe return of the dog. I strongly advise you to stop and return my boy safely before it gets any worse!

He asks anyone who knows of his dog's whereabouts to contact him immediately.

Whitehead even has Blitz decked out in a Dallas Cowboy's shirt, which is seen in the post below.

Whitehead said he also had talked to the police.

While Whitehead didn't report anything else missing besides his dog, in an online post, the National Football League player soon learned what the break-in was all about once he was contacted by the person who took his XL Bully puppy. The grey dog was proudly featured on Whitehead's social media accounts as his best canine friend. "It's killing me. It hurts because I don't know how he's being treated".

Boogotti continued posting videos about the ordeal on his Instagram page, reiterating that he did not steal Blitz. I was willing to do what I had to do [to] get him back.

Early Tuesday morning, Boogotii Kasino posted a video to Twitter of what appears to be one of his acquaintances from the previous video returning the dog to Whitehead.
