After months of speculation, we're finally getting all the exciting information we've been waiting for about the seventh season of American Horror Story.
If Paulson and Peters' storyline is indeed "a love story for the ages", it'll mark the second time they play a couple on the series. "Murphy also revealed in a recent Twitter Q&A that the new season will be the actor's "heaviest season yet", which should make longtime fans excited, considering Peters had a fairly small role in the series" last season, Roanoke.
Murphy took to Instagram, as he often does, to share a drawing of the characters. Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters were husband and wife in "AHS: Roanoke" and are said to be love interests once again in "Cult".
When it comes to American Horror Story, half the mystery occurs before the first episode even airs.
Ryan shared this sketch of Kai and Ally on Instagram, with Evan sporting some rather interesting blue hair, and hinting at a possible relationship between the pair. On Sunday night, Murphy made another surprising casting reveal fans really didn't see coming: he himself will be acting in the new season. AHS: Cult will be set in MI, which might tie into the election theme, considering that MI was a key battleground state.
Peters and Paulson will be joined by other familiar faces of the small screen like Lena Dunham ("Girls"), Billy Eichner ("Difficult People"), Billie Lourd ("Scream Queens"), Leslie Grossman ("What I Like About You"), and many more.
