Los Angeles' Ritz-Carlton Is Racist According To Comedienne Leslie Jones
July 22 2017, 10:39 | Perry Erickson
Leslie Jones claims Ritz-Carlton doesn't 'like black people'
Jones, 49, took to Twitter on Monday to gush about her night hosting the popular award show - and to let her more than 600,000 followers in on what happened afterward.
The Los Angeles Ritz is located just feet away from the Microsoft Theater, where Sunday night's awards were held.
The hotel responded to Jones' tweet and asked for her to reach out to them.
The Ritz-Carlton directly tweeted Jones, saying: "We're very sorry to hear this. Please DM us & we'll look into this right away", they wrote.
While it is not known what Jones experienced at the Ritz Carlton hotel, it is not the first time Jones was faced with racism.
Jones has reportedly yet to respond to the Ritz-Carlton. "We remain committed to providing an environment where all feel welcome".
Twitter users replying to Jones' statement seem to think it was irresponsible of the star to call out Ritz-Carlton and then leave the hotel hanging.
The new tweet comes only one day after Jones aired a amusing pre-recorded bit on the BET Awards, warning her younger self to stay off Twitter. "All this cause I did a movie", Jones said on Twitter. "While we do not comment publicly about individual guests, we take every guest concern seriously and work quickly to resolve issues".
She did not give details about the alleged incident, but the tweet prompted a response from the luxury hotel chain.
"I leave Twitter tonight with tears and a very sad heart".
