The 20-year-old supermodel wore a daring pink gown that offered a glimpse at her nude underwear when the slit in her dress flew open.

The Thelma and Louise actress actress looked incredible as she arrived in France for the annual film festival.

Twenty-year-old Hadid hit the red carpet and posed for photographs at the 70th Cannes International Film Festival's Opening Gala, which also featured a screening of Ismael's Ghosts (Les Fantomes d'Ismael), starring Marion Cotillard.

Kicking off this year's festival on Wednesday at the Palais des Festivals, Bella Hadid looked chic when she was escorted by her father, Mohamed Hadid, while clad in a gown by Alexandre Vauthier and shoes by Olgana Paris.

"Dior day.I am always so honored to walk the Film Festival carpet. especially in this handsome gown @Dior@bulgariofficial make up by sweet legend @peterphilipsmakeup and hair by my love @jenatkinhair.in my favorite color of course", she captioned the shot.

The star is in Cannes to promote new films, romantic comedy How To Talk To Girls At Parties - in which she stars alongside Nicole Kidman - and The Beguiled, which tells the story of an injured solider who seeks shelter in an all girls' boarding school.

Still, Bella isn't one of the coolest Insta-models in the world for nothing, as she brushed off the incident as though nothing had even happened and continued to greet Susan Sarandon and pose for further pictures. Well, this season the ceremony has welcomed change (not without its controversy), as the event is set to celebrate 'event' television. "You must be small and humble in front of the image that's here".

That seemed to be the last word - until Smith chimed in a few minutes later, launching into a defense of Netflix, as it related to the viewing habits of his three kids. They get to see movies that aren't on a screen within 8,000 miles of them. There are movies that are not on a screen within 8,000 miles of them. There's very little cross between going to the cinema and watching what they watch on Netflix.

But he said he had hesitated about accepting the invitation to be a Cannes judge when he realised it would take up two weeks of his time and would be spent mostly watching films. This is also the first festival held since the nearby Nice attack a year ago that killed 86 people.
