Cavaliers coach Tyronn Lue owes Brown $100, and Brown is ready to accept it when their teams face off in the NBA Finals beginning Thursday, June 1.

Kerr has missed Golden State's last 10 play-off games as he continues to deal with complications from back surgery two years ago.

Appearing in his seventh straight Finals, James knows the Cleveland Cavaliers are underdogs as they prepare to the play the Western Conference champions for the third straight year.

Kerr addressed the media on Memorial Day with Brown battling an illness and provided an update on his health. "Yeah, I still think about that [turnover]", Curry told ESPN's Chris Haynes.

Brown is expected to be fine in time for Thursday's game and while Kerr's status is more unsettled, it sounds as if there is an outside chance Kerr could return at some point during the Finals.

Kerr said: "As of right now I would not coach Thursday night".

'Once we get to Game 1 it might be a good time to make a decision one way or another, ' Kerr said. He's participated in practices, meetings with coaches and other things that go on behind the scenes.

Such was the case last season during Game 7 of the NBA Finals, when Curry, with just under five minutes remaining and Golden State clinging to a one-point lead, tried to hit Klay Thompson with a behind-the-back pass that instead flew out of bounds. "[But] in thinking about that game, it's amusing because I know the concept of making the right play, making a simple play, understanding that there are deciding moments in games and the difference between winning a championship or not could be one of those plays".
