A freaky photo that emerged from Trump's visit to Saudi Arabia, where while opening an anti-extremism centre, the U.S. president, King Salman bin Abdulaziz of Saudi Arabia and President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi of Egypt were photographed touching a glowing orb, has went viral on social media.
Popular Video SNL is not a fan of the Trump administration, and it shows with every new skit they produce. Together, the three leaders placed their hands on the globe to start a film about the center. Social media users were swift to let their imaginations run wild.
In 2016 Mr Trump declared that "Islam hates us".
"I am gone from Twitter for like a few hours, and now Trump is a holding a Palantír!"
And while the whole summit was about nations uniting in a bid to put an end to terrorism, that's not the takeaway message many Twitter users got from photos of the event.
Some Graphic novel fans were not lagging behind and compared the picture with Hydra, the villainous organisation bent on world domination of the Marvel universe, and some were reminded of DC Comics' group of supervillains The legion of Doom.
Others took a different approach to poking fun at the US president. "For clarification, this is not a Satanic ritual", reads one tongue-in-cheek tweet in wide circulation from, yes, the Church of Satan, notes the BBC.
