Samsung Galaxy S8 is Already Closing in on 1 Million Pre-Orders

Unfortunately, however, the company has announced that the voice control feature of its smart assistant, Bixby, will not ship with it. This means you may or may not be ahead of everyone else, unlike before when the uncarrier would release pre-orders in advance. No information regarding the price and availability has been made available yet but it is expected that the smartphones will go on sale on April 21 in India, same as the global release date.
"Samsung is now seeing an extremely positive market response for the S8 and S8 Plus with the number of their preorders having surpassed 700,000 in the Korean market".
The latest flagship Galaxy S8 series would help the company to regain consumer trust after the failure with its ill-fated Galaxy Note 7, Koh Dong-jin, president of Samsung Electronics' mobile communications business said during a press conference in Seoul on Thursday. They also said Samsung has seen a rebound in consumer sentiment towards the firm since announcing the results of a probe into the fires and preventative measures on January 23.
The publication added that Galaxy S8 pre-orders also outpaced those for last year's fire-prone and recalled Galaxy Note 7, which had a record 400,000 pre-orders.
And new reports have claimed that the company is set to reveal a number of devices featuring multiple screens.
Authentication through facial recognition is nothing new in smartphones. While it will have Vision, Home, and Reminders at launch, Voice won't be coming until later in Spring, and that's for United States owners only. Currently, Bixby is only able to support American English and Korean languages. The phones will ship with Google Assistant, which is part of the Android operating system and boasts some of the same features as Bixby, such as helping users search for and order things like movie tickets and restaurant reservations.
At this point, nobody really knows if the device will make into the market or if we will see it this year.
Samsung is already in demand and many people have already pre-ordered it on all the major carriers and online websites. Described as something that can be "folded or unfolded semi-automatically", if this technology will actually take form of reality, it will certainly spark a new trend in the market.
