Lowry comes back to life as Raptors take Game 2

The Raptors had history on their side, winning Game 2s against Brooklyn in 2014, and then in and Miami last season.
"A guy who leads the team in every category, who can finish in the top 20 in every category, it's just unheard of", Kidd said. He's a competitor, he's a fighter. But it seems, his ankle is fine now as he spoke to media following Monday's practice and is expected to be available to play in Game 2 on Tuesday.
Kyle Lowry sat slumped in his seat Sunday, still wearing the frustration of the previous night's shocking loss to Milwaukee.
Antetokounmpo's layup to open the second quarter gave the Bucks a 10-point lead, but the Raptors hit back and a driving finger roll by DeRozan had Toronto up by three points. Antetokounmpo went for 28 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists and one block in the Bucks' surprising domination of the Raptors in Toronto, dunking over anyone who dared attempt to impede his progress to the rim, and hitting an array of jumpers to boot.
He was much better in Game 2, going 6 for 12, including 2 of 5 from long range.
"It sounds like a yearly song we sing but we're going to go as (Lowry) and DeMar (DeRozan) go and he's got to be aggressive no matter what the defense is doing", Raptors coach Dwane Casey said. He did have six assists in the game but the minus-22 beside his name left little doubt that he was outplayed and outplayed badly by the rookie running the point for the Bucks in Malcolm Brogdon.
"It gets worse", Lowry said. "We're going to need that from him".
"I thought our defence was up to par this evening by just playing hard", Kidd said.
"Every shot I took was contested or ran off", Lowry said. "So I think for us we're going to have to dig our heads in the dirt and get dirty".
While they couldn't snatch a second win away from home, Antetokounmpo said the Bucks had still managed to achieve something important.
"It's on us", Casey said.
The Cavaliers improved to 9-0 in the first round since the return of James, who had 32 points, 13 assists and six rebounds.
Every day from now until the end of the season I will do my best to provide links to either watch or listen live to all National Basketball Association games. Casey said Toronto must do a better job at getting back in transition.
The Raptors opened the third quarter with an 18-3 run capped by a Lowry jumper that gave them a 13-point lead.
Antetokounmpo scored on a three-pointer - and flexed his biceps on his way back down the court - to tie the game with two minutes left.
Tucker missed two free throws with 56.3 seconds left, failing to extend a two-point Toronto lead and giving the Bucks another life. Ibaka scored 10 points in the first and DeRozan had 10 in the second, going 6 for 6 from the free throw line.
We have the Toronto Raptors vs Milwaukee Bucks. Toronto took a 55-52 lead into halftime. If Lowry is having an off night, they can't afford to have their backup point guard, Joseph, be a non-factor as well.
Even crazier, the four points Lowry scored made for his lowest total of the year. It was as part of a 53-36 overall rebounding edge for the game. Memphis was outscored by 39 points in the 26 minutes its sixth man played.
Boston got within 91-82 early in the fourth before Chicago went on a 14-4 run to push its lead to 19. It was a one-point game in the final minutes.
Lowry was not himself in Game 1, a non-factor for nearly the entire match. He finished 4-of-15 from the field, but showed the leadership that the Raptors lacked to find other ways to be a difference maker. Giannis Antetokounmpo led Milwaukee in the win with 28points and eight rebounds.
