Christians celebrate Good Friday in Jerusalem

Meanwhile, believers are also gearing up to hold Easter Sunrise Service or Resurrection of Jesus Christ on Sunday.

Many people participated in communion services this week, and remembered.

Like that man, Father Martin said, Jesus forgives even when it is hard. All the while you've been focused on right belief when Jesus is the prize. As we celebrate the blessings of our Lord, Jesus Christ, His sacrifice on Calvary's Cross, dissension into Hell where he victoriously conquered Satan and ascension into Heaven as our High Priest, let's rejoice and be glad! You might even say that regularly - and watch how Jesus begins to transform you from the inside out. And you, like me, may question: Hey, what gives?

In his Easter message on his Facebook page, Dr. Nduom said Ghanaians are exhausted of listening and reading about messages of hope from leaders at the helm of affairs, amidst diverse challenges.

I have experienced many discussions on what it is God bestows upon us when we die, but I long ago decided that if we think we can adequately understand the life beyond, I don't want to go there. Are you asking for that power in your career, relationships, or even finances? "There's a God that loves the world".

"We can't be any happier, it's like a dream", she said.

This kind of love is beyond my scope of comprehension.

The fourth phrase is one that Father Martin said was often most hard for Christians to accept: "My God, why have you forsaken me?" But if Jesus Christ didn't come back to life, it undoes His claim to be the all-powerful, eternal Son of God, Savior and Messiah. It is also a call to hope, especially when hope feels most impossible.

Jesus did not come to "condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him". Lewis argued that if Jesus claimed to be God, and he wasn't, then he was either a liar or insane.

The fifth phrase is a simple "I thirst".

Be reminded that Jesus is the only way.

"He ate like us, drank like us, slept like us", he continued. This is why Jesus experienced His agony in the Garden of Gethsemane.

"From a historical point of view this is nearly certainly not the route that Jesus took in his final days, in his final hours", Patmore said.

"We may feel our dreams are ending, but God always has other dreams for us", he continued.

Why? Because as He said, "I am the way, the truth and the life". That's why we sing our Alleluias for we know that Christ has been risen from the dead. "One of the things skeptics will say: 'The Apostles were simple fishermen". It's easy to forget that Jesus is the only way to life and life to the full.

All of this, when, if He had asked, His Father would have sent down a legion of angels to rescue Him and annihilate the entire Roman army.

So, what does all this mean for us today?

Baptized into his death and resurrection, we live the heavenly life of the risen Christ, our lives "hidden with Christ in God".
