Kohli doubtful for Australia showdown

Kohli was back on the field to lead India in Australia's second innings, but despite having a go for 100 overs, India could get only 6 wickets.
Kohli had stopped short of calling Smith a cheat after the Australian captain sought dressing room's advice for a DRS call, triggering off a major controversy. While India's team management is monitoring the progress of his recovery from injuries to his right leg which have kept him out of worldwide cricket since the third Test against England in Mohali, it is felt he may not be ready yet for the rigours of long-form cricket.
With the series 1-1 going into the final Test, Dharamsala shapes up to be one of India's most important matches in recent times, and a hard one for India to negotiate without their captain. Lawson had largely unsuccessful stint in coaching and was sacked as Pakistan coach in August 2009.
"I think (India) would be fine (without Kohli). We are looking forward to the next game rather than worrying about anything else", said Pujara, who along with KL Rahul has been India's most consistent batsman in the series.
"I really admired the way the side fought hard in that last Test match". Glenn Maxwell on his return to test cricket scored 104, which helped Australia put on a good score on the board.
In Ranchi when he was forced off after damaging his shoulder in the field, India appeared completely rudderless and devoid of any enthusiasm and aggression.
In the past 47 years, only one Australian team have won a Test series in India.
"Before we came over, they were expected to win 4-0".
"We have played a lot of cricket here at Dharamsala and we know the conditions". Those are things we need to keep in mind. The knock was on a pretty good wicket, where there was not much of pace on the wicket in Mumbai and we didn't play any of our frontline pacers (Starc and Hazlewood). So I don't think the wicket will matter a lot to us.
"Its the fault of @BCCI & complete arrogance of @CricketAus who've alwys tried to dictate terms in cricket and target players", he added. "If Virat was to miss this Test match, then I'm sure the Indian side will still be in very good hands". "So we would look to continue that and win the series".
Live streaming of the fourth and final Test between India vs Australia in Dharamsala is available online.
Kohli said the injury hampered his normal range of movement, and that he ran the risk of aggravating it while fielding, though not while batting. While he batted, he did not take field during Australia's first innings following a tumble near the boundary rope.
Skipper Virat Kohli, on Thursday, skipped batting at India's net session ahead of the fourth cricket Test against Australia that starts on Saturday.
